Unless indicated otherwise, our Getaway Packages include...

1000 ISLANDS SEA KAYAKING

Sea kayaking is fun and easy to learn! Escape from the stress of modern day life, relax, and enjoy the view while participating in one of the fastest growing recreational sports. We offer rentals, island escorts, and tours. On each tour you will travel along the St. Lawrence, learning about the natural history of the area. We'll show you the basics at the start of each trip, including basic paddling strokes and safety tips. We won't leave shore until everyone is comfortable in their kayak. We paddle at a pace that everyone can maintain, taking breaks for island exploration, photo opportunities, and snacks. Discover the natural beauty of 1000 Islands by exploring hidden coves, abundant wildlife and cottages along the shoreline. Please don't confuse the sport of sea kayaking with river kayaking. Sea kayaks are much more stable than river kayaks or canoes. In fact, sea kayaks are not only stable but comfortable, very seaworthy and, due to their shallow draft and low profile, ideal for exploring coastlines.
